Hey friends, I just got a kindle fire and I use it for a lot of different things but I am having trouble using this site on it.  I can read everything just fine but cannot reply or post a new topic.  when I click inside the reply box my keyboard does not appear.  Anyone have any help for me?

    Thanks

Just tried it on my kindle fire got the same results as you keyboard did not come up..

At a guess I would say this site doesn't like the fire.  Which is weird since I can post here on my android phone and fire runs android?!?

I know kindle is a stripped down version of android.  I can't get all the same apps as I can on my android phone.  I have heard of people "rooting" them, but I think I would just turn mine into a paperweight.

Androids are tough to use with JWN.  Best bet is the one that sometimes, but mostly not, works with my smartphone.
In the "Post a reply" area below the  B  I  U are a scissors and some clipboards.  The "T" clipboard makes a box appear and you are supposed to be able to make plain text appear inside the box.  Your keyboard is supposed to appear when you touch that part of the screen.  It really doesn't work well and only appears sometimes.  After typing (if the keyboard appears) then press "insert" at the bottom of the box then you still have to "submit" the entry.

It doesn't work very well and will frustrate you.
